Our Psychedelic Marketing Strategy for Zach Leary
It’s been a huge honor for us to partner with Zach Leary, son of legendary psychedelic pioneer Timothy Leary, to help promote and fill his online course, Psychedelic Studies Intensive. This 8-week deep dive aims to help people become more effective psychedelic guides, harm reduction advocates, and assist them on their journey as psychonauts.
Here at Jennings Creative Agency, we are no strangers to the psychedelic movement and all the challenges that marketing in this area brings. Our founder, Jennings, has experienced profound personal growth and healing through psychedelic ceremonies. We believe deeply that everyone who wants to learn about and experience these medicines deserves access to them.
Our strategy for filling Zach’s course and helping people access his wealth of knowledge has been multi-pronged. Some of what we’ve done is:
Created informative and relevant social content for Zach’s Instagram, @zachlearydrome, garnering tens of thousands of views and over a thousand click-throughs to the course page.
Increased email list signups through this content and through paid promotions on Meta, enabling more effective selling in the future.
Established an on-the-ground presence at Psychedelic Science, the largest psychedelic conference in the United States, and promoted heavily in person and on socials at the event. This event was sponsored by the well-known psychedelic nonprofit MAPS.
Going forward, we’re exploring creating lead magnets and running ads in addition to social media content to ensure an even more successful launch next time!
