What is  “Ethical, organic content creation”?

So, what is “ethical, organic content creation,” anyway?

This is a question we get somewhat often, and so we wanted to spell out allll the details of what these terms mean here. Put simply: Ethical, organic content creation is content creation from a place of service, available only to people, businesses and organizations who are helping the greater good. This is done with integrity (no bots!) so that your account always remains safe.

Why do we at Jennings Creation only offer organic, ethical content creation? The answer lies in what we’ve learned along the road towards forming this agency. For the past several years, as our founder Jennings was embarking on this journey of learning the power of social media, going viral several times, and figuring out how this whole digital world works, she realized that this is an incredibly powerful resource that needs to be used for good.

Social media represents the power to REACH PEOPLE, connect with them positively, empower them, and help them. And yet, many companies and organizations who use social media are simply doing it with profit in mind - not with a broader mission of service. Jennings’ background in environmental science, permaculture, and visual arts all combined into the understanding that social media is a powerful force, and it must be used for good.

To break this down a little further, let’s define what we mean exactly by ethical and organic in this context, and give you some examples.

Ethical: Helping businesses, people, and organizations who are caring for humanity or the planet in some way.

Ways we’ve embodied this as an agency are helping to launch a celebrity-led jewelry line created by the living legend Grif Griffis and her close friend Quincy Jones, where throughout the entire production workers are paid fair and living wages, and 20% of all proceeds are shared with Women’s Earth Alliance. We’ve also helped with event promotion for Earthdance Global, a global nonprofit that has been hosting dozens of festivals for world peace and donating all proceeds for the past 25 years. Another favorite project of ours has been designing and implementing a fresh social media and outreach strategy for Maui Tomorrow, a committed nonprofit fighting off predatory development in Hawai’i for over 30 years, boosting their engagement by 185% in the first two months and website visits over 800%.

Organic: Video, photo, and written content that is high quality and works to grows your audience without the use of bots or other paid services that can cause you to lose access to your account. Yes, we’ve all seen ads for those shady services that will magically boost your Instagram following, but the truth of the matter is that these are against the Terms of Use agreement for Meta and TikTok, and more often than not will result in your account being banned… Meaning that all your hard work would be wasted and you would have to start all over from scratch!

The good news is that there are safe, proven ways to grow your audience! We analyze trends, check out your competitors and similar services, optimize your keywords, and create a rotation of content types that we analyze for effectiveness. We then steer the ship, so to speak, towards what’s getting the best engagement for you. And boom, organic growth!

Hopefully this cleared up any confusion you may have about what ethical, organic content creation is all about! And if you are a business or organization helping the greater good, it would be our pleasure to work with you. Please email us at jenningscreativeagency@gmail.com or contact us here.
